PRICING
The price of memorials can vary greatly due to monument type, size, and weight, and design elements. We use only granite and bronze for our memorials because they are two of the most durable materials used for grave markers. Prices include a cement base, installation, and delivery.
Here are some base prices for our most popular styles:
- Flat Markers: $1,000 minimum (sit flush with the ground and can be ordered in granite or bronze)
- Slant or Pillow Markers: $1,300 minimum (raised at an angle for better viewing, not as large as an upright monument)
- Benches: $3,400 minimum (placed at a gravesite to honor a deceased person or family)
- Upright Monuments: $4,000 minimum (traditional, tall headstones that require heavy lifting equipment and more raw material)
- Companion (or Family) Markers: $4,000 minimum (large monuments meant for two or more people)
- Columbariums: $5,000 minimum (upright headstone or structure where the urn or ashes can be securely sealed inside)
Sales tax and cemetery fees are additional.
Other factors in pricing:
Material and granite color: Are you choosing bronze, a domestic granite, or imported granite?
Design and engraving: Personalization options include sandblasting, laser etching, hand-carving, photos, vases, custom landscapes, sculptures or figurines, etc., and all will factor into the final price.
Stone finish and polish: A polished surface reflects light and shows colors more vibrantly, while matte or frosted finishes offer a softer, more understated look. Polishing all sides of a monument drives up cost. Some families choose a polished front with a rough-hewn or "rock pitch" edge for a natural look and lower cost.
Cemetery fees and installation: While our prices include shipping, delivery, and installation, cemetery fees are additional and can range from $150-$1,000.
Is it possible to get everything you want and stay within budget?
- Decide what you can comfortably spend and stick to it.
- Rare granite colors come at a higher cost. Black and gray granite are beautiful and less expensive, and darker granites often offer superior resistance to thermal stress and UV fading.
- Consider simplicity when it comes to personalization. One special sentence can still be as meaningful as a full verse from a song.
- Thinking about a permanent vase on a marker? Temporary options cost less, can be removed during winter, and hold more flowers.
