SLANT AND Pillow Markers

Slant and pillow markers are are the perfect compromise for those who want more visibility than a flat marker without the higher cost and imposing size of an upright monument.

Slants are usually about 16 inches high at the back. They get their name from the fact that the front surface slants at a 45 degree angle, making the memorial easy to read because the engraving is angled towards a visitor’s line of sight. This is also an excellent option for those who want the visibility of an upright monument from the road, but at a lower price point.

Pillow (also called beveled) markers are similar to flat markers, but rise a few inches off the ground. The back edge of a beveled marker is about two inches thicker than the front, and this sloped surface allows visitors to read the marker as they approach.
